            Writing to you today on Wednesday June 10th 1 day after game 2 of the NBA Finals where Boston leads the series 2-0 taking both games in TD garden and are headed to Dallas to potentially sweep the Dallas Mavericks and take the Larry O'Brien Trophy as 2024 NBA Champions.       Biggest takeaways following game 2 of the NBA Finals are... the Celtics ability to get scoring contributions from all of their players. A very balanced scoring threat coming from Porzingis in a big way through game 1. Along with Holiday in game 2 with the game of his life giving the Celtics 26 points last night. The Celtics scoring is coming from all of their players there are 6 different players on the depth chart that can drop 20 points.             Concluding game 5 of the 2024 Western Conference final the Dallas Mavericks completed the gentleman sweep of the Minnesota Timberwolves with a final score of 124-103. Dallas advances to the NBA finals to face the Boston Celtics.      Boston had a 5 game series against the Miami Heat, a 5 game series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, followed by a 4 game sweep of the Indiana Pacers. The narrative surrounding Boston's Finals run is mediocre competition with injured stars. The Heat without Butler. The Cavs without Mitchell, and the Pacers without Haliburton. People will place this label on the finals run and in the same breath say the regular season doesn't matter.      The Boston Celtics were an absolute wagon during the regular season with a whopping 64-18 during the regular season, giving them the best record in the NBA the number 1 seed, homecourt through the whole playoffs and of course the weakest competition...

            The NFL Draft is 21 days away! This has been the day that Patriots nation has been waiting for since likely week 5 of the 2024 NFL Season. Yes the Patriots have been out of it for a while and aside from young talents Christian Gonzales and Demario Douglas the New England Patriots have lacked the pure thoroughbred that will sell the fanbase on the future of the Franchise. The Patriots lack the Franchise player the Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs, Allen and the Bills, Burrow and the Bengals even Lawrence with the Jaguars. The Patriots have nobody and the fans have been starving for a long time following the eventual bust of 1st round selection QB Mac Jones.       The Patriots need a Quarterback... that is the reality of all the teams selecting at the top of the draft.           On November 2nd, 2023 Red Sox Chairman, Tom Werner vowed the Red Sox would go full throttle in the offseason to improve the ball club for the 2024 season. The Sox have done anything but this during this offseason with cutting payroll to an already last place finishing team. The Red Sox signed Lucas Giolitto to a one year deal with an option in year 2. They traded Chris Sale to the Atlanta Braves for a 2nd base prospect Vaughn Grissom and have missed out on mega stars Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, along with of course, kicking the leader of the lockeroom Justin Turner to the curb after the amazing year he put up for the team last year.      The largest concerns to address in this off season was the Red Sox needed quality starting pitching and a right handed bat.        On January 11th it was official, Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick had parted ways, after a crash course of a rebuild post Tom Brady, Belichick and the Patriots had made the playoffs in 2021, had an 8-9 season in 2022 followed by a dismal 4-13 season in 2023.     What it comes down to is the "optics" surrounding Robert Kraft and the New England Patriots post departure of Tom Brady. This article is not here to absolve complete blame from Bill Belichick. There were mistakes he made over the years. Rather to take a hard look at the owner Robert Kraft and what happens with owners who meddle with the operation and attempt to make the entire sequence all about them.      There was serious controversy regarding Tom Brady and his contract situation in 2019.           The New England Patriots actually won a game this week so I am back to write about one of their games for once. Bailey Zappe got the start in this game and it looked as though the team has moved on from Mac Jones following the loss to the New York Giants.  Bailey Zappe in this matchup threw for 240 yards with 3 touchdowns and 1 pick. A decent stat line for the young QB . Zappe in his career is 3-1 in games he has started the real question when it comes down to him is... what took so long? Zappe is currently playing with house money due to the Patriots being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs the earliest thy have been eliminated since the year 2000. The whole quarterback room has been a mess all year long. Mac Jones turtled completely into a shell, Zappe had been cut twice, Grier was cut, Corral never made it to the lockeroom, and Cunningham was just poached by the Ravens.        The block has been real, I apologize I have been gone for so long. Nay State Sports is back and reinvigorated here to write to you about the absolute WAGON that is the mean green machine, Americas Team... the Boston Celtics.      The Celtics through the month of November have launched into an absolute tare. Ranking in the top 5 for offensive rating among all NBA Teams. Followed by a top 3 defensive rating among all NBA Teams. I have been saying this everywhere the Celtics are different this year. The Boston Celtics will NOT lose a game on their home floor. The Green are currently 15-4 on the season tied for the best record in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves.      When it comes to the Celtics the strength starts with Jayson Tatum...
