We Got Our Guy

The steal of the 2025 NHL Draft flew to Boston Massachusetts on Friday June 27th with BC Eagles Centerman James Hagens landing in Boston. Hagens 5'10 was the number one prospect in the draft with his dynamic athleticism, speed, vision, scoring and playmaking. Hagens going into the Hockey East 2025 season had lofty expectations, as one of the top prospects in the draft along with Matthew Shaefer, and Michael Misa.      Hagens stock touted as the top talent for almost the entire season yet somehow his stock dropped in the last month leading into the NHL Draft, it seemed that General Mangers had convinced themselves that Hagens was just not physical enough to be taken over the other top picks in the draft. With the Florida Panthers winning back to back Cups, physicality is the rage right now in the NHL.             We all knew when Brad Stevens moved Marcus Smart and Robert Williams for Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday, the Celtics created a 2 year window where they had the strongest roster in the league head -toe. Jaylen Brown is a volume scorer with elite two way presence on the court. His weaknesses to work on this offs...

The 40-42 Boston Red Sox had lofty expectations going into the 2025 Major League Baseball season. After key free agency signings of Alex Bregman, Walker Buehler, and Aroldis Chapman, trading for Superstar Left hander Garret Crochet, the return of Garret Whitlock, and Trevor Story, the Boston Red Sox had immense buzz, and optimism leading into the Regular Season. With Juan Soto leaving the division, and Gerrit Cole going down with a Tommy John surgery in early March, the path was paved for not only a Wild Card berth, but even competition for the division. The soap opera that has been the Boston Baseball Red Sox have shown anything but competitiveness for the American League East Division.      The major story of this season rides along the story of 3rd baseman Rafael Devers, and the dramatics of him giving up his position to make room for superstar free agent signing Alex Bregman. Rafael Devers was a brat during this process,...
