            Concluding game 5 of the 2024 Western Conference final the Dallas Mavericks completed the gentleman sweep of the Minnesota Timberwolves with a final score of 124-103. Dallas advances to the NBA finals to face the Boston Celtics.      Boston had a 5 game series against the Miami Heat, a 5 game series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, followed by a 4 game sweep of the Indiana Pacers. The narrative surrounding Boston's Finals run is mediocre competition with injured stars. The Heat without Butler. The Cavs without Mitchell, and the Pacers without Haliburton.
